Welcome.

Not to a launch.

Not to a store.

Not even to a collection.

Because none of those things exists yet. Or maybe, let’s just say at least, not completely.

AVAQ is still becoming. Still being imagined. Still being built, one quiet thought at a time.

And perhaps that’s why this feels like the right place to begin. Not with finished work.

But with the reason for doing it.

On Why AVAQ Exists

I often find myself staring at some photographs for much longer than I expected.

A photograph that, despite being quiet, talks to me. Makes me feel alive.

And it has always made me feel that not everything precious needs to be big, costly. Not everything beautiful asks to be admired.

But what is precious is always going to remain undescribable.

Perhaps that’s what importance and preciousness are meant to be. You can just feel their worth, but words fail to express that. That’s why some people are just like that, life. Some things simply ask to be remembered.

I’ve been thinking about that often.
