Between Your Night and Mine

Prerna Bhardwaj has spent most of her life becoming useful. To patients. To colleagues. To family. To the systems that keep asking for one more clinic, one more letter, one more hour.

Arman Sharma has spent his doing much the same. At a small office in Chandigarh, in a house in Bathinda that is never entirely finished, among numbers, repairs, obligations and the quiet work that rarely carries anyone’s name.

Between Your Night and Mine is a novel about two fully lived lives, and what happens when one person, almost without announcement, begins to inhabit another person’s ordinary days.
